pattis_message.jpgPeople who live more than eight decades have usually acquired some wisdom - simple wisdom that comes from personal experience.

My mom Patti is no exception.

She turns 81 in a few weeks. Although her memory isn’t what it used to be, her heart knows what’s right, and she’s not afraid to speak her mind.

She and I had a conversation about Iran tonight. I asked her a few questions. Her thoughtful answers made a whole lot of sense.

Here’s what she said:

Heartfelt message that I'm afraid will fall on deaf ears. Not everyone who walks on two is human. Still, it's good to be reminded of how it can feel to be one. So, please thank your mom for all of us.

Many voices speaking together eventually create a roar. Each voice plays a part. Never give up hope of being heard smilies/smiley.gif

The frightening thought ~ the government in Iran do not care about human life and will not think twice about shooting everyone who defies them, similar to China shooting the students.
May God bless and keep them safe as they go into this protest.

I just wanted to say thank you for this post. Im an Iranian-American girl smilies/smiley.gif and i loved this video. Hi to Patti & thank youuuu! Just to see that 1 more person in this world is showing care about their fellow bothers & sisters, Iranians living in Iran, lets them know that they are not alone in their struggle for freedom & human rights in their country. I thank you so much for your fight for women and for advocating unity between people who need others help & support! You ROCK! smilies/smiley.gif))) --Roya
