I have enjoyed your Mom and you so much many times. It really brings peace to my sole for my Mom has end stages of alizhemiers. Some people have said I was wrong in taking my Mom to festivals and events sthat had bands so Mom and I could dance. Mom would become a different person around a band and would enjoy herself so I now feel taht what we did was the right thing and the ones who thought wrong of it were the ones wrong.

Dear Phyllis, thank you so much for your thoughtful comment which brought me great joy today. It's wonderful that you took your Mom to festivals where she could hear music and be free in her body and her mind despite the awful disease from which she suffered.

My Mom Patti also becomes like a new person when she sings and dances, and I know it makes her happy. I'm sure you will treasure the memories of the joyful dancing with your Mom forever. You were so right to take her smilies/smiley.gif

How comical, you just had SO MUCH FUN, you pair! I lost my mum aged 70 but I sense she would've been just as crazy as Patti if she had had the chance to dance with me at 80. Thank you for sharing your life with me today. Kindest regards from Janice in Somerset in the UK.
